Alright, so here’s the deal: People go out and get dumb tattoos of their boyfriends and girlfriends names on them. Horrible decision, but they do it. Once they break up, they (of course) no longer want the tattoo. We’ve seen many people take the same route as the person in this picture: Put a massive “void” or even worse “non-factor” tattoo OVER the tattoo of their ex’s name, drawing more attention to the tat they’re trying to cover up. Is there not a better way to cover up ex’s name tattoos? Like a portrait of some sort? Instead of just sort-of covering it, seeming bitter (“non-factor”), and letting the world know you are one of “those people” who gets tattoos of the person you’re dating? I guess it’s too much to ask for someone who got the person they’ve been dating for a month tattooed on them to use some good logic when it comes to permanently inking their body.

It’s always dumb to tat anyones name.
Tattoos are dumb to begin with, let alone putting someone’s name on you!
I hope they get back together. Would love to see him/her void the VOID tat
I’ve seen crosshairs tattooed over a portrait… even worse!
It’s not *always* dumb. I have a memorial tattoo of a family member who passed away. I’ll never need to “void” that one.
I got the “VOID” tat on my ex-wifes name about 10 years ago. Before that no body had it. Got it a shop in Virginia Beach.
This one is easy to cover up; simply fill in the star in black.
