How stupid. Anyone who gets a tattoo based on a movie is dumb. How’s it gonna be in 60 yrs when you don’t even like that movie anymore and there’s something bigger and better out you enjoy?
Not the worst tattoo ever. And if you worry about “in 60 years when you like other things” you should not get a tattoo at all.
In 60 years she will pull her skin tight look at the tattoo and think: “Wow I did that at that age and loved that movie nig time. ah good times!” Old people reminice about the old days anyway. This is a reminder.

I have a Resident Evil tattoo, not because of the film (vomit), but because of the GAME, much like this chick probably got hers because of the BOOK, not the film. If you love and feel strong emotions towards a series you know better than anything else in life, then it’s a proud moment getting something like this tattooed. People get inked for the most STUPID reasons. This isn’t one of them. At least there is meaning and love behind something like this. Sometimes a series is like your second life. You know it by heart, it gives you chills to play/read, it takes you away from real life problems and you become immersed in it’s universe, and you’ll never ever get over it or like something better bc you’ve been obsessed with it since you were a kid or teenager and the nostalgia will never be outdone by something “new and better” as one commenter suggested. It’s nostalgia, the love of a series, a sense of connection to it’s story/characters, and above all else, you think it’s pretty bad a$$!!
so i am taking it that most of you on here know her personally? no….. oh im sorry i just figured you must since most of you are referring to her tattoo as thoughtless, crap….oh and i believe pointless has been used too. well how the hell do you know the meaning behind it. maybe hp was her siblings favorite book or her child’s, or that of a loved one that died. or maybe she got it because like millions of others, adults and children alike, she loves hp. the judgmental crap i see on here by the faceless masses just boggles me. and i must say that i highly doubt that most of you would have the nerve to say your opinions to her face. so much easier to judge others from a far. just because it is not something that you would get for yourself does not make it pointless or crap.
