   Gangnam is an area in Korea where the people who owned cheap land become ridiculously wealthy when its value skyrocketed. The culture in Korea is that you aren’t respected for being rich unless you earned it. There is much backlash against the Gangnam residents, and they’ve become a bit of a joke. The song is mocking them and their over the top wealthy lifestyle.

    I had to do some research as I had no clue as to what gangnam style was. Go to youtube and watch the video…it’s shall we say “interesting” lol.
    It’s by a Korean rapper by the name of PSY. This fad will last all of a minute and be over…and dude will be left with a wtf tattoo for life. Sad….
