The name was faded enough(and in a relatively unobtrusive place) to just leave it be without much impact. That bold black X through his name is just going to draw more attention to the spot and the fact that you felt the need to first tattoo someone’s name on you and then cross it out.
I think the bigger thing you need to get rid of is that bow on your finger. Is that a kid’s hair tie?
Wouldn’t it of been easier to have the name covered up with a design of some kind? that just draws attention to it and tells people that she is really dumb for her choice to cover it up. Anyone who gets the name or face of their better half imbedded in their skin is really stupid. If you break up then you are forever reminded of that person,plus have to spend more money to cover it up.
